Delete your Abide account
Request permanent deletion of your account and associated data from the app or, if you cannot access the app, from this website.
Delete in the app
Open Abide
Sign in to the account you want to permanently delete.
Open Settings
Go to account settings and locate the account deletion control.
Choose “Delete account”
Review the warning and confirm your permanent deletion request.
Request deletion from the web
If you cannot access Abide, you can request deletion by contacting . State that you are requesting deletion of your Abide account and provide the email address or username associated with the account. We may ask for reasonable verification to protect the account from unauthorized deletion. You do not need to reinstall the app to make a deletion request.
What happens after deletion?
When your request is completed, Abide will delete or de-identify the account's associated personal data and User Content, including public posts, public notes, uploaded images, videos, and other content associated with the account, except information that must or may lawfully be retained for limited purposes such as security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
We will also take reasonable steps to instruct relevant service providers to delete associated data where required and applicable. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or logs until those systems cycle or expire.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Abide account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it through the applicable app store's subscription-management tools to prevent future renewal.
